The Australian RADD Team

Each member of the RADD team has a pretty hot media track-record. The team's areas of expertise include project management, award-winning radio and television program production, talent acquisition, media planning and buying, community service projects, documentaries, live events, PR campaigns and the execution of staggered media campaigns.

Peter Rubinstein

Peter Rubinstein is a Director of RADD Australia. He has been in the entertainment industry as a musician, television producer and radio program producer and syndicator for over 30 years.

Peter has been involved in RADD since the very day it was decided – back in 2002 – to get this anti-drink drive initiative up and running. He’s seen RADD grow from a handful of celebrities and a wish-list of stations to where it is today: well over 400 celebrities and up to 500 stations lending their support.

At age 22, Peter was co-creator (together with Graham Webb) and producer of “Sound Unlimited with Donnie Sutherland” on the Seven Network. He later went on to work on and produce music programs for the ABC and the TEN Network. In 1977, he moved to the US where he set up a company which produced promotional music videos.

By 1981, Peter was creating radio program packages for the movie industry. Over the next few years, he was involved in the production of nearly 100 such packages that promoted new movies to the youth-targeted radio stations.

In 1990, he moved back to Australia and set up Radiowise Media Networks with Peter Saxon, who remains his business partner to this day. During the past 10 years, he’s conducted over one thousand oral history interviews. He’s also a classically-trained musician and has played piano for over 50 years (he’s only 25!)

Ben Oakley

Ben is RADD’s production guru, responsible for over 2,200 messages that RADD now boasts. A highly skilled audio engineer, Ben’s range of work has included live sound for many of Australia's well known bands, session work and jingles, in fact Ben virtually ran the Stage Door Productions Recording Studio from 2001-2004.

Since joining the RADD team he has produced over 2000 RADD messages, numerous syndicated radio programmes, including Rick Dees Weekly Top 40, American Top 40, 21st Century Farmer and regularly consumes his own body weight in Spicy Fried Rice.

In addition to his RADD engineering role Ben is a talent specialist, borrowing from his years at the Stage Door with new and developing bands.
